This sea pool is at the South end of Coogee Beach Sydney.
It is lit from flood flights from 20 meters above at street level and from the Surf Club building.
I took the photos on a misty overcast night and at low tide, luckily very little sea breeze. I have seen exposures take here where the sky was also lit...Probably with a low cloudbase but clear skys below so the city light could reflect.I also had great difficulty composing shots of the pool its self.I came to the conclusion that the best way would be standing waist deep in the pool with the tripod... another night maybe. I will post the best and you decide where you would have framed the shot.

3 minutes F10 11mm Sigma wide using a ND8 (3 stops dark ) filter.ISO100 of course.

It's hard to get perspective from this shot. Without clouds or people or ripples in the water it looks like it could be 15 feet wide or 100 feet.

From the thumb I thought it might even be a shot of a table set model or something. A part of this is of course having no clue about the landmark... I suppose in the correct light you could make the Eiffel tower look like it was 5 feet tall in somebody's basement, only people would recognize it was the Eiffel tower and know better.
Still, I like night shots and there is quite a low noise level for a 3 minute exposure.
The shot gives a sort of tranquil but eerie feel, almost like a graveyard.
