Taking the wide view

If you look beyound the tree you will see the hill and rocky outcrops that form the basis of my recent series of shots. This was the first shot I took under the heavy cloud cover and with no direc sunlight. I tend to range far and wide through a location looking for different angles and scenes to capture. Those who have followed me on DA for years will no doubt groan when they see another stark tree but I haven't posted one for at least a year!
