An attempt at moonlit photography.... trouble is the city lights.. too much.... but be proud of me.... I walked down the shakey pier with $2000 of non waterprood camera and lens while it wobbled about
1.5 minute exposure ISO100 F8 10mm sigma lens on a Drebel.
Oh, the light trails are aircraft moving from sydney airport

Ahh, this gives the game away! Was thinking it was somewhere off into the Port Hacking rather than Georges. I like the contrast between the worn and aged wood and the bright perkiness of the modern activity in the background :)
Beautiful shot! I love the colors.

l'audace, l'audace, toujours l'audace!
Beautiful picture.
Well, if the city lights bother you a bit maybe the lights wouldn't cause you that much grief if you cut down the exposure a bit? I mean f/8 is already a pretty big aperture (and God beware, I am not suggesting changing the ISO, I know you don't like it). The author of that book I am reading had some advice on moonlight photography and the best exposure times (he says they are just rough guidelines). Can't remember them perfectly right now, but I could look them up if you wanted to know.

But I honestly like the colors. And I think the city lights are good. Maybe the shutter speed a tad faster, but even that is probably not necessary.
