2012 and I'm still taking photos. Have had a few successes with commercial calendar sales
of my book and one photo Kingdom of Cane was chosen to be purchased as a book cover. I sold an article and photos to Australian Photography magazine ( Jan2012 issue ).Mixing models and landscapes/seascapes. Improving my photoshop skills. Just have purchased a new Asus gaming 17 i7 laptop which I am whipping into shape. Need everything to run under Win 7 64 bit.
See you round like a rissole.

Spending four weeks working in the Great Australian Bight on the southern Coast of Australia. There is a cliff face running the length of the country ( Think twelve Apostles ) and my town is very small and set in a bay bitten out of the cliffs. It has about 500 people, a long jetty and a sandy beach and just a kilometer away is this dramatic cliff dominated sea shore. So I am back to taking scenes for a month and will try to shoot every day. If you wish to like David Haworth Photography on Facebook you will get to see the new stuff each day. See you when I get back!

...ps...
the best exchange between a journalist/writer and a photographer was from years ago.
When the photog got an award or some accolade, the journalist would always compliment him for having such wonderful, expensive equipment. Despite the photographer's efforts, the writer's attitude wouldn't change.
So...
One day, the journalist won an award for quality writing or storytelling. The photog called and complimented his friend. He exclaimed that it must have been created on a VERY expensive typewriter (hey...it's an older story). As the writer began to speak his defense, he finally figured out what his friend had been trying to tell him of where the creativity lay.
My guess here is that the journalist probably had no worthwhile internal drive, had had to let go of his therapist due to the economy, and was resorting to tearing down the good in others rather than find the good outlook within. Should have suffered broken fingers until he could "see the light" through something like a broken Holga.
