Easter 08 Devmeet Sydney
Dawned a wet damp and cold Saturday in the middle of a 4 day Easter Holiday weekend.
Mike and Kierra of DevMeetSydney
[link] had arranged a meeting in the center of the city for all locals of a mind to get together.
Meeting at 12PM at the fountain in Hyde Park in the center of the city
Should I go or not.......??? 11.30 and decided yes! After all the poor cold bedraggled things had put themselves out for yours truly to organize a good day out.
It was the least I could do. By the time I hit the city the sun was threatening to break thru the clouds and the jacket and long sleeved top were ditched for a black T and black jeans
Black is the colour of my true loves Devmeet! Remember that!
The team was already throwing frisbees and comparing Telephoto lenses ( mine is longer than yours!) when I arrived.(doesnt it shit you when WORD corrects your spelling of Frisbee?) A black soccer ball with a skull was later introduced but due to a mess of tourists everywhere very little green space was clear for a grudge match
next time.
We then fell to the ground suffering greatly from hunger pangs and decamped to the Pitt street mall to hit the food halls!
But a road block in the form of world famous

giver Juan Mann and friend dressed in a Rabbit suit in the middle of the mall giving free hugs.
If you dont know Juan he became famous for giving away hugs for nothing. Visit their website and get a look
..
[link]Hes the tall dude with the sexy facial hair and neo intellectual glasses! Of course the girls in the meet led by Keirra had to get their hugs
then they thought
what if we get some mobile phone music going and introduce dance to this gig
. Funny ,and the rabbit was into it!

then they thought
how about some sychronised dancing
. See Jaun in the background?

After food drink and sustenance we made our way towards Darling Harbour, Sydneys tourist Mecca. On the way we found a fountain and Keirra decided to ride a white swan to the delight of the photographers and the ire of a security guard who gave her marching orders hehheh

Actually I think it was a stork or a flamingo or a Kiwi????
We took a devmeet group photo which you will be able to find in a day or so on the website and then walked into a live performance of Shenzo's Electric Stunt Orchestra
Upside down trapeze rock and roll
cool!

we got into it
especially when they played and ACDC song as an encore

I like to see Led Zep do this! Jimmy Upside down bowing his guitar

They was fun! Then I had to exit stage left
.. wonder what else happened??
I managed to sell some prints on Redbubble!! You can too!
